The shoes are a perfect fit for my needs. Based on my observations they ARE not too heavy and not too light - just the right weight for athletic shoes .The white color adds an element of style that looks great on me. The insoles are very comfortable and give me the support I need when walking. The only drawback I found was that they were slightly pricey. But overall, a great purchase..
