I needed to put a front shield on a car that was taken from a condition where it was not needed. So there was nowhere to attach. This kit worked perfectly. The silicone is very flexible, allowing it to flex around the contour of the front bumper. It was easy to install the plate into the bracket and then just drill holes in the bumper to install. I like that the mount doesn't obscure any information on the sign and it looks good. As it came with two frames I also replaced the original dealer mount at the rear of the car.
