I shot weddings in the 80's with a motorized Pentax 645 and everything from T2i, 7D, 5mk2, 6D and now 5Ds. While other people use APSC, I found I could only use full frame DSLRs for Photoshop, so I gave up APSC. After selling all my APSCs 8 years ago, I gave this M6 (2 copies from Canon) another chance. with my full frame lens: 1. Yes bright light shots are now almost as sharp as the 6D and to the point where gnats on a branch are almost visible which were barely visible before cropping. Then I went to church and it almost failed. DP review says low light noise is mediocre, pretty terrible compared to the worst 7D. I'm not sure if both copies were bad or because of Jesus. Canon just puts too much emphasis on sharpness and really compromises on noise. Although I'm disappointed that I can't join the mirrorless crow with my good lens/flash and have to lug a heavy 5D. Basically it's a nice little APSC, with sharp images in bright light, with button layouts to die for, without the 'wow' factors of 6D or 5D. Another thing is that I have family photos from the 50's that are as crisp as some of my photos. lens on my 5Ds. Be it a degenerate DSLR glass ceiling or an incessant demand for replenishment. Should I wait another 8 years for Canon?
