This is the second solar camera I have bought. This is a great high-end security camera. The motion detector starts up quickly, works much better than my Ring Doorbell. I got the first camera to monitor my garden and since I really like it I bought a second one for the driveway. I love that I can inspect my property without having to go outside. It helps me to keep track. This is the perfect solution for me because where I placed it I can't connect power. It was great to be able to use solar power and not have to worry about the electrical installation. He lives in New York and only gets a few hours of direct sunlight a day, but that seems to be more than enough to turn him on completely. I am satisfied with the video quality and recognition quality. It works great at night and even has a backlight, which is pretty cool - overall a great option for areas without power.
