Review on Razer Viper 8KHZ Gaming Mouse, Black by Stanislaw Mirzalek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

Has pros: Well, what can I say, it's top. All kinds of wireless for tens of thousands of . whether, and here without a drop of exaggeration. Let's go in order: 1. The first and main quality that currently distinguishes this mouse from all others is 8KHZ. I don’t know if this mouse really gives out a polling rate of 8k or the raiser somehow managed to achieve this effect at the software level, but . the mouse has a jeweler’s precision, smoothness, responsiveness and, in general, gives a feeling like when switching from 60 hertz to 144 . 2. The minimum key travel before triggering in a combo with laser switches is the same kind of imba. Again, I do not presume to claim that this is the merit of the laser switches, but in general, I feel an instant response to each press, which is great. 3. Honest 70 grams of weight without a terrible, and absolutely impractical fashion for holes in the body. 4. High-quality assembly. Nothing rattles, no backlash, everything is adjusted as it should. Pleasant rough coating on which the hand does not sweat. 5. Razer software. Yes, no matter what anyone says, but the raisers are the only ones who add only really necessary functions to their program and present it beautifully and holistically. As for the mouse settings: lift-off height - yes, carpet calibration - yes, backlight setting with a bunch of modes - yes, programming of buttons for whatever you want - yes. In general, this is an imba and not a single mouse will now stand next to this viper, given that: 1. The shape of the viper suits you perfectly 2. You have a really powerful computer. Again, I do not undertake to set any minimum system requirements, but for info I write my own: 11900k, rtx3080, 32GB 3733 MHZ, SSD PCI Express 4.0. 3. You have a monitor with a high hertz and a game in which your hardware is able to produce an FPS corresponding to hertz. And the higher the hertz, the more the main advantage of this mouse is revealed (provided that the hardware produces an FPS equal to the hertz). In my case, the Asus PG259 360HZ monitor is used. Cons below: For me, the only downside was the cable. To be honest, I didn't expect the raiser to set up exactly in this. The cable is soft, elastic, but it walks on QCK like sandpaper and it's a real shock. It's the first time I've come across this. The problem was partially solved with a wire holder, but if the material itself were more pliable, then everything would be much better. As they say, the family does not . I also want to warn those who are looking at this mouse and for whom it definitely will not work: 1. Owners of a large palm and at the same time lovers of high mice with a hump, on which you can put your whole palm and so that nothing touches the carpet further in this format . - no, forget it. The mouse is quite low and does not have any pronounced hump, it is far from g403, neither in rise nor in hump. 2. Those who use the side buttons exactly as much as the main ones. On this mouse, the side buttons are recessed, which is why I personally got high. there were fears that the buttons from the "non-working" side would be pressed, but no, in this model the buttons not only stick out slightly, they are even slightly recessed deep into. Therefore, it is most convenient to press them by swiping your finger from the bottom up, which may not work for everyone. 3. People with a weak PC and a simple monitor. If you have 60 hertz (even 144 is debatable), 1050ti, i3, 8 gigabytes of RAM and HDD - don't take it. You will not open this mouse and get a bunch of bugs instead of all the charms of 8khz. Of course there is a solution, you can always set the polling rate to 1khz, but then what's the point? Take a wireless then either a good wire with the usual refresh rate. 4. For those who satisfy themselves with the sounds of pressing buttons, this mouse will not work either. Alas and ah, but the click sounds are comparable to any office mouse for 500. And if for you the sound is more important than the physical sensations and quality from the pressing itself, then alas.
