I don't have much experience with label printers and didn't have one before purchasing this product. All I was looking for was a reliable way to print labels when I need to return online purchases or mail things to people. I knew I needed a thermal printer as I rarely print and had previously had issues with inkjet printers with the ink not printing for months and drying out. Installing the drivers from the manufacturer's website was a quick and easy process, although the product also includes a disc if you wish to go that route. Installing everything on Windows 10 was fairly quick and easy, although it did require a bit of tweaking to get it set up, which I expected in advance. The included instructions explain the whole process well, but I would recommend looking for a manual on the manufacturer's website as it provides more detail and has helpful images to help you along the way. However, if you're not the most tech-savvy person alive, you might need help with the initial setup. faded ink on one half of the label turns out it was just a problem with the test prints. When I started printing the actual shipping labels, the print quality was excellent. I don't know if it's related to my computer setup or something else, but it worked out fine in the end. The printer is fast and the included perforated prongs are nice if you're not using perforated labels (like the ones that came with the printer). Overall I'm quite happy with the performance of this printer and the price, I think it's a good option for getting things delivered from home.
