In general, we like the projector, we are satisfied with the purchase. However, not without oddities. It was packaged in standard packaging labeled "LCD Digital Projector" - no brand or company name. Likewise, the user manual and remote control are generic and do not appear to be made for this real projector; All buttons on the remote control have different functions than stated in the manual and the actual digital display is very different from what is shown in the manual. Everything works, but the big problem was with the sound. If you're only using this with streaming from the internet or a connected PC, you're probably fine. We tried using it with a Blu-ray player via HDMI and were able to get audio during the preview but not the actual movie. After checking with some audio engineers we know, they think it's a digital rights management issue. Luckily we had an old DVD player with separate audio output options in the garage and we're fine with using it (unless we need to use DVD, not Blu-ray). With a 120-inch 16x9 screen, the maximum throw is only 10 feet, and we couldn't find any manual or digital zoom option. On the plus side, however, the brightness and clarity are great and we didn't notice any playback hiccups. And the price was good. It does what we wanted it to do, which is movies in our backyard.
