These Mexican blankets are as thin and cheap as Chinese ones. The long sides are not straight and are obviously carelessly clipped from the bolt. Instead of hemming the raw edges, a simple overlock stitch has been used, making the long wavy sides look even worse. A true Mexican blanket has a woven border. I used them as tablecloths with a plain white tablecloth underneath. My daughter was hoping to use it as a blanket on her bed; but these are not suitable for this. I wish I had invested in better quality blankets. I actually bought them from several sellers here at Revain to get many color combinations. Three of them with three different color names turned out to be exactly the same. This purchase is an example of why customer reviews matter. If we can't test our purchases before we buy them, critical reviews can reveal aspects that nobody knew or maybe didn't even notice.
