I am allergic to a lot of metal but seem to always need a belt, so I decided to try this. I also like to wear a lot of stretchy pants for work or jeggings on the rare occasion I actually wear jeans, and this is perfect! It's thin, not noticeable under clothes, has a large range of adjustability, will stay up even over pants that lack belt loops, and you can pull it up and down all day without needing to unbuckle it. I am kicking myself for not thinking to buy one of these a long time ago. It's a great belt that serves a its purpose and can be worn comfortably. It's really nice not needing to pull up your pants all day. No negatives!
