Great for travel good for outdoors

I bought this backpack to carry my MFT system on a recent trip to Europe. My Olympus E-M1 fits easily in my belt bag with a not too small 12-40mm lens, as well as a 40-150mm lens and a fairly large 100-300mm lens. The belt pouch slides in and out very easily when carrying the pouch, making it easy to change lenses. The tall, narrow look and waist straps hold the load well close to the back, and the weight is on the hips rather than the shoulders. I've used the top compartment for cards, snack bars, tissues, aspirin, tissues, etc. The larger top compartment held extra batteries, an SD card pocket, a gorillapod, an umbrella, a wallet, and a couple of soap dishes (for 3D shooting). and infrared) leaving room for a light raincoat. I didn't use the tripod straps or the water tank compartment on this trip, but I felt they would be easy to use. body, even when the straps are fully tightened. Even on shorter trips, some people might feel uncomfortable (I'm an average 5'4" female). This trip consisted more of sightseeing than extensive hiking and this bag was the perfect size. easily fits in airplane overhead bins, gets in the way on subways and doesn't look like a camera bag, which is always a plus when traveling.
