I was very impressed with this knife after using it for about a month. Now this is one of my favorite knives that I cook everything with. Does it cut? Yes very good! When I first used it I was amazed at how smoothly it cuts. We've used it on everything from garlic to chicken to potatoes and pretty much everything else. There's never a problem with him. The pen feels good in the hand and feels good in the hand. You can feel the line between the wooden part of the handle and the blue epoxy fill, but only if you look for it. The handle itself is very beautiful, it's like a gem to see through. Overall I really like this knife. Also very good for the price.
