During the Covid pandemic, visiting our church was restricted to worship leaders only. We have used Facebook Live to virtually share our services. However, there are some members who either don't have a Facebook profile or have technical problems and don't use computers. The option was to broadcast on the radio and parishioners could come into the church parking lot and listen to the service. Setup couldn't be simpler, just attach the antenna, plug in and tune the channel to a channel not in use locally. The specs say the transmitter range is 1000 feet, but we found a clear signal from nearly a mile away, even with the transmitter in the middle of a brick house! Many of my older members now go to a McDonald's, Hardies or Burger King around town, have a cup of coffee and sit in the restaurant parking lot listening to a church service. The microphone is very sensitive and does not have to be used as a lavalier microphone. We put it on a music stand near the church entrance and everything is audible. Highly recommended!
