Button problems Pull down

This seems to be a promising technology. I was amused to find my own mini Ecobee thermostat probes in a room I forgot I put one in. The functions are quite simple and as long as you adjust the sensitivity during the sweep it works quite well. As a reminder, if you have a smartwatch, hold the sweeper in the OTHER hand as it picks up RF traffic and makes it impossible to scan for other objects. My problem is that one of the buttons didn't work properly. The flash button (two flashes engraved on the button) worked correctly, switching between laser and flashlight on a quick press, then turning off the flashlight on a long press. The mode button (with the letter M) sits next to another button and requires a long press to switch modes. This worked initially, but also toggled the flashlight on and off. To make matters worse, after an hour of testing, the mode button stopped switching modes altogether and just turned on the flashlight. Not good. I'll give them another chance with a sweeper replacement. I will update with results.

Pros
  • Hidden cameras
Cons
  • I really don't like it, everything is fine
