Review on 🚢 New Balance MW840V2 White Walking Shoes - Ultimate Comfort and Support for All-Day Walking by Zachary Caldwell

Finally, there may be hope for NB.

This entire review can be summed up in one sentence: This is the first NB shoe I have bought in four years that I have not returned. First impressions about the build quality is that NB has cleaned up its operations a bit. It's too early to tell how they will hold up. I can only hope they don't have any issues with any of my other NB boots. If there are problems I will update. I find that the sole on them is not firm like all my others. Maybe this will help prevent the permanent sole delamination I've had for years. I'm keeping that for now. They're at least as comfortable as my original 928s from eight years ago (the current vintage 928 is of poorer quality). The heel fit is the best I've found in an NB shoe: no slippage. I had to experiment a bit to find the right combination of orthotics. But on the other hand, I have bad legs. Twenty years ago, in my first NB shoes, something from the 400 series, I felt that they partially helped me walk. Since then, this is the first couple to have something similar. I plan on scoring a few more points or two just to have them on hand.
