They are not designed to compensate for the growth of thin boys.
I usually like Levis, but my son prefers tight and long clothes, so I always buy him skinny or skinny jeans. They fit great in length, but are not skinny jeans. I've had to return a pair because they're too big for him. They will work for the occasion but I'm still not happy with how they fit him.
