I love styling irons and I have a few that I switch between when I style my hair. Some straighten better, some curl better. Most of them aren't top notch with either (except my Ikonic Supernova), at least not in my hair and skill. I have found that this Usmooth straightener straightens my hair rather than curls it. I can get it to curl, but it's not as easy as some of my others. Fewer passes are required to straighten the DEF Usmus Straightener. I love it. The less time I spend on my hair, the more time I can spend on other things. It heats up from 0° to 450° in about 15 seconds. It's so fast! My hair doesn't have that burnt smell that lower quality straighteners have. My straight, silky hair also lasts much longer throughout the day when I use the Usmooth straightener compared to an inferior straightener. Usmooth has really introduced a high quality hair styling tool here. My issue is the price because I have another straightener that straightens just as quickly, heats up just as quickly, and lasts just as long, but it's almost $50 less and I can curl it easily.
