Review on 🔊 Eheim 8596 100 High-Performance Air Pump by Juanita Riles

I love Ehiem products. I have several canister filters that are amazing. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the Eheims air pump. I have a small air line, an air stone and a built in adjustable outlet. The problem is I have a $6 10 gallon Tetra air pump that has twice the capacity and half the noise. I'm NOT exaggerating, I hung the Eheim air pump the same way I hung my Tetra air pump and the Eheim is noticeably louder. The Eheim air pump is by no means loud, but if you use it in the bedroom like I do, I don't think it's quiet enough. I thought hanging the pump would give me quiet operation, but I was wrong. $30 more than Tetra, no problem. The trick is to hang the tetra pump so that it doesn't touch anything (very easy to do). Much luck
