I chose these ceramic knives because I was tired of seeing all my metal knives rusting so quickly and I didn't want aggressive serrated knives. I first ordered these (black pens) over a year ago and they have held up beautifully. They are thoughtfully packaged, are a good size and feel good in the hand. No stains, no rust or tarnishing, no broken handles in all that time. Only recently I managed to chip one of the tips, but to be honest I'm not careful with it. I toss them in the sink, wash them in the dishwasher, use them on china plates etc so it's my fault - I would definitely say they are durable. I didn't receive any compensation for this review and I don't usually write reviews, but I'm really impressed.
