I bought this product because even though it's the same cheap chinesium crap everyone else is selling, at least there's a US Company involved. I figure if it catches fire or explodes I'll have someone to sue.I'm on my 5th of these, 3rd from this particular company. They last about 6 to 9 months before needing to be replaced. Their life is shortened if you live somewhere with precipitation. There's a design flaw that channels any water or moisture directly to the lightning connector and once the iphone detects the moisture it stops charging. Cleaning and drying doesn't seem to resolve it.Anyways be prepared to avoid moisture at all costs. You'll get 6 months of daily usage before the battery declines, usually 9 months before it declines to the point of uselessness.From experience though the Alpatronix is the best of the bunch. Unlike Gin Foxi, the company is responsive to inquiries, they do seem to care and being an American company you can deal with humans that speak english fluently if you have issues or concerns. That alone is worth 4 stars in my book.
