Review on ☕ Coffee Gator Digital Multifunction Kitchen Scale with Timer & Large LCD - Ideal for Food, Espresso, and Beverages by Kristen Simpson

So far, so good! Many years ago I was a professional barista, working in a third wave cafe making espresso, latte art, V60, ext. I've always had V60 brewers, but as for the scale, I was familiar with using the Hario V60 drip coffee scale from the coffee shop, but didn't want to pay that much for the scale. . That's why I chose the Coffee Gator coffee scale with timer. So far it has worked as expected, I use it to weigh coffee beans and also when I use the timer to make coffee. For context: I've only used it a couple of times at the moment. If anything about it breaks or changes I'll post it below and update my review. I only have two concerns with this product: 1. Durability and reliability. As said, I am familiar with Hario scales and have used them for many years in a professional environment where water and coffee has been spilled, dropped and hit on and I have never seen a scale break or stop working work. So I hope this product can offer the same reliability and durability at the personal home use level without any problems. Only time will tell, but it appears to be well made and durable from previous handling. There is a complaint with the seller / Amazon. The scale only came in the product box, not the shipping box, and I'm afraid the product box is unsealed or taped. So, in theory, someone could easily see what the item was about and open or tamper with it without resistance, without the need to break a seal or label. Mine arrived safely, but I couldn't help but think that someone else might not be as lucky as I was. That's why my rating is currently only 4 stars.
