Review on 💧 STITCH Smart Home Collection: Monoprice Wireless Smart Water Leak/Flood Sensor - White. Probe & Alarm, No Hub Needed! by Calvin Reynolds

I ordered 4 of these sensors because the price seemed very reasonable. However, during the installation of each of them, they seemed to connect; but when I used the Stitch app to test the network, I got "poor network conditions" every time, even though I was standing next to my very fast router and had a very high internet speed. I noticed that in the fine print, the application checks the port and UDP settings, but doesn't mention what those settings should be. I know these settings are firewall settings in routers. I have many smart devices at home including 10 different brands of smart sockets and none of them have ever given me this type of message so I didn't want to start changing the firewall settings especially when it didn't mention what you should. On a positive note, all notifications were sent to my phone when I water tested each of them. Also, the Stitch app mentions that it's compatible with ITTT, which I use for other purposes. I followed their instructions to connect Stitch to SmartLife and then configured the ITTT applets correctly; however, they didn't work. I then tried to contact Monoprice customer service. Since there is no support phone number listed, I tried filling out an email form. When he asked for an order number, I entered the Revain order number, but she rejected her form, ostensibly because it wasn't ordered directly from Monoprice.com. So I gave up and opened the chat window. The representative had no idea what I was talking about with these issues and after reviewing her paperwork or colleagues she finally told me that they were all faulty and that I should return them all. what is this answer Apparently they have no idea how to support these new sensors. So they returned. Luckily, Revain got my money back quickly.
