The shoes feel great until you run a distance in them. I got blisters on both legs 3 times after about 1 mile. I exchanged the insoles for good, known ones. The insoles I took out were quarter inch foam pads. So when I replaced them with new ones, there was no padding left in the shoes. The toe ends have no protection from the elements. Basically like a thin sock. 1 small puddle and wet feet. I usually buy 1 pair of shoes a year. this year I had to buy 2. My wife hated this couple for the same reasons. Even at half the price I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
