The event that started everything off was the realization that I truly missed my dual core e6300 2.8 GHz processor, which I had to overclock to 3.6 GHz in order to be able to play battlefield 3, which was my favorite game at the time. I decided to save money and not spend money on i3 - i5 and instead purchased a pentium g850. It became more comfortable to play, especially considering that it is more powerful in games than the first i3 on clarkdale. However, this is not what I wanted, so I saved up money and still purchased an i5 3450, and I realized that I was stinging money in vain. In games, the performance level is about that of an i7 processor. If you don't believe the reviews and tests that are done on the internet, seek for newer ones that have a more powerful i7 processor, but not for gaming. There is not a single recent game that has loaded it by more than 70%, and the typical load is between 40% and 60%, therefore it would be foolish to overspend for a model that costs 3550 or more if you intend to use it for gaming. Oh yes, today I play Battlefield 3 on ultra on cards with 64 people at 60 frames per second. Sometimes it dips to at least 55 frames per second, but this has only just started to happen. It seems that Nvidia has done something new with firewood (8 gigabytes of RAM, gtx 660, monitor 1920 by 1080). On the other hand, this processor will allow more powerful video cards to show their full potential.
