It surprised me that the sound quality is quite good, especially when played through a Samsung smartphone, as compared to cheap wired SONY. (this is merely my opinion, since the perception of sound quality is quite individual) Paid for expert help: When on sale, these headphones are a steal. It has a nice, even sound. With noise cancellation engaged, the battery life is roughly 5 hours. Superb, superb case. Cons: -microphone quality is poor. Even worse than the aliexpress Chinese headphones. Nothing from the street can be heard. Active noise reduction is subpar. True, but it serves no use other than to look impressive. Most ambient noise is suppressed via passive noise cancellation. -If you don't have a Samsung smartphone, you'll be limited to AAC playback if you use these headphones. There is a subtle but audibly perceptible improvement in sound quality. Your ears will feel fatigued after about two hours, even with noise suppression.
