This round toilet seat is terribly made! DO NOT BUY! The product listing is WRONG. Says "standard for all American toilets" which is not true. The default center width between the hinges is 5.5 inches. This toilet seat has 6" hinges. So you can only attach one side of the toilet seat and you won't even see the other hole to attach the 2nd hinge. You can adjust the ***hinge spacing*** depending on the opening in the toilet adjust freely and flexibly." This is also wrong. The hinges are fixed with screws and the distance between the hinges cannot be changed from the 6" to the 5.5" I need. Yes, it is very important! Therefore, can This seat can only be fixed on one side. VERY unsafe for me, I am disabled. The risk of falling is high. Also, the bottom of the toilet seat (the part you sit on) is MUCH longer than the lid (see picture). There is no way to adjust the cover so that it is flush with the edge of the seat. Judging by the pictures in the listing the cover should be flush with the seat. It is not. See photos. Finally, the width is between Ironically, the only measurement not listed by Revain is the toilet hinges. I've never had a toilet seat with holes that were too far apart to fit the toilet. NO purchase recommendation. At least the information is wrong. The seat is poorly finished at best as the cover and seat do not match.
