Leakage at the threaded connection. did not produce hot water. NO INSTRUCTIONS
No instructions to begin with. It's pretty basic, so installing it wasn't a problem. The big problem is that it was leaked from one of the threads. I made sure that the gasket was installed correctly. I used a large pipe wrench to see if I could tighten it more, but the tightest I could do was still drip a little. It is enough to leave a puddle in a day. I also set it as hot as possible and it was barely warm. This thing may work for some applications but not for a water heater.
