It's not a pedal potentiometer.
This "motor speed control" pedal does not function as a potentiometer to change the DC output voltage applied to the DC motor. I don't know exactly how this thing works or what it's for. Maybe it works for something, but it's not a foot pedal potentiometer as it turned out when I checked.
