This is a good rain jacket for the price. I like that it has a light fleece lining on the inside. A lot of raincoats don't have insulation, which is fine if you're wearing layers, but the good thing is that this jacket adds a bit of warmth. I live in a climate that doesn't get very cold, so it's usually a bit chilly outside when it rains. This type of jacket is good in that my son can wear normal school clothes when it rains and then use this jacket when it rains and it keeps him warm for the limited time he is outside and going to school goes. Then when he's in class he can take it off and wear clothes appropriate for the house. The quality of the materials is good so I expect this jacket to last long after my son outgrows it.
