I took a chance because I had never used the Piaa brand and they tend to be more expensive than others. I replaced my stock wipers with a well known and respected brand and they cracked from the start. I replaced that new blade with this Piaa blade and it's perfect. Tiny traces of silicone coat the glass, collecting and blowing away raindrops. There have been warnings from other sources that these leaves could interfere with rain-sensitive wipers. Not yet. My rain sensing wipers seem to be working better than ever and my wipers are drier than ever.
