Review on Haapaw Martingale Release Reflective Training by Janice Velasquez

Good for greyhounds!

Hello! My name is Tako and I'm a Saluki who can run 35 miles an hour for half a day without food or water! I'm a master of unleashing at the highest level, I can wriggle out of any non-martingale collar and most harnesses. It sucks for the people that live in my house because I'm also very shy and scared of people with other dogs so I squirm and jump and wiggle until I'm free. Free! IS FREE! Freedom! Then I run back to my front door at 40 mph and wait for slow people to catch up and let me in. They are VERY slow. In any case, my folks couldn't find a martingale collar that would fit around my thick neck (it's bigger than my head! MUCH bigger! You know what they say about a guy with a thick neck. You can come out from under the collar !LOLOL, Amirite?), but was also wide and didn't want to choke me. This fits great and is really durable! However, my people don't use it for walking in unknown places, I'm too strong for that. You use a harness and this collar with a carabiner and a leash with a double clip. They REALLY don't want me to go! So if you're really strong and an escape master like me, your people shouldn't be relying on this collar - or any collar at all - to hold you down when you really REALLY want to escape. But it's a very well made, fairly thick design that doesn't seem to show all the dirt I ride in, it has a locking quick release buckle and my lover says the strap to adjust the slider unlike any other in place and spot stays Other collars I got were from what threw them in the bin. (I love junk! I eat junk. Garbage is YUMMY! I eat bugs too. Sometimes I'm a little stupid but hey I'm just a pup what should I expect?)
