Review on 🔥 Glo Brite 21st Century L03 Wide Cotton Lamp Wicks: Effective 1-1/2-Inch Illumination Solution by Devin Perry

The wick was delivered as advertised and in good condition. My problem may be due to my ignorance. I stuck a 1/16" wick into the 1/8" wick holder, then stuck the combination into the top of the Turkish style oil lamp, filled the lamp with oil and made sure the oil covered the exposed portion of the wick reached (1/8). 4") and lit the wick. Initially, the flame was PERFECT. Then, within a minute, the wick visibly dried out, causing the wick to ignite instead of oil. Once the wick had burned down to the hole of the lamp, the flame died out and the remaining wick just smoldered to the point of total extinction. I don't understand why the wick didn't continue to soak up the oil. It went well into the tip and went well into the lamp. Never could a reasonable long burning flame of of this lamp received. Any professional advice would be greatly appreciated.
