Review on OpenFreezer by Allan Lambert

I like that you can use so many different types of equipment if your institution has it; makes purchasing easier! It took me about 10 minutes to find our refrigerator's model number/ serial numbers but they were hard coded into their database which meant we had no way at first glance knowing what brand or year fridge was inside unless going by manual inspection only without opening doors etc.... The software is very user-friendly and can be used for a wide variety of applications. There is some lag time between saving an order and it being processed, but this is to be expected from a free software. I have no complaints about this software. I highly recommend this software to anyone who is looking for a robust software that is very easy to use. I have used the software to track samples, primers, reagents, and protocols.
