I recently bought a used 8ft beanbag, I didn't realize how bad it smelled until I rolled down the windows in my car and went through the windows. These people apparently had a cat or cats and urinated or sprayed on this bean bag chair several times and for some time. I fill duvet covers with zipper. Loaded 8 loaders onto a washmat and poured a cup and a half for the twin duo. Along with a small amount of bleach, bleach and Clorox fabric softener. I have no doubt that this detergent is the reason the smell came out completely! What you should consider when washing: Do not rub. I put some of my comforters in the 6 loader and there wasn't enough room to wash them properly. Even a little goes a long way! A cup and a half for 8 loaders and it smells fresh, not like cat pee!
