The material is very soft and I love it but the sheets are "thin". I bought this set for our double bed and the sheets don't stay "tight" around the mattress. Although the sheets have deep pockets. When I go to make my bed, the sheet is crumpled and I literally have to pull it taut. For you, ladies, I grip them the same way we grip tights when we put them on. I take the sheet with one hand, then the other, and so on, until I pull it taut and any wrinkles are smoothed out. If the sheets are really bad I literally have to take the bed apart to make it look half made. They were cheap, confirming the old adage "you get what you pay for". I'm not sending them back but I'm looking for other sheets and that may be an extra set in a pinch.
