Not only do these lights blend perfectly into the posts on our back deck, but considering our Easterly facing back yard is heavily shaded by two massive trees, evening the evenings can start to get pretty dark.You would never look twice at these mounted lights during the day. The only thing that stands out is the charcoal colored solar panels against the pure white surfaces of both the lights themselves and the surrounding deck rail. But as soon as the light fades to just the right level, the beautiful pattern of light is cast softly, but fully, across the area. They cast the perfect amount of light all night long to have a conversation face to face or even across a table without obscuring your vision or intruding on the night's dark cover. And the LED light does not seem to attract the moths or other flying interlopers that a traditional Edison bulb would in a similar context.I wish we had found these lights 2 years ago when we moved in to our home, but at least we have them now. They will last as long as they will, and then we will buy them again.**UPDATE** We did in fact come back for a second order. Not because anything went wrong. On the contrary! We're so pleased we found some new places to add light to our nights!
