My parents grew up in the mid 20th century and growing up, beautiful, warm, exotic teak furniture was the mid-century modern choice for the whole home (the same teak used to build deck yachts like this one are so impervious to water). My family would love these delicate and classic bowls for the same reasons - the aesthetics of the most majestic of natural wood combined with durable functionality. Please note that these bowls appear austere, rustic at first, as there are no stains on them. and unembellished: If you are looking for warm, honey-colored tones, put them in a sunny window for a few hours – but not for too long, otherwise they will turn grey.
