As soon as I took it out of the box I knew this was going to be a problem. Yes, it's designed to be portable, but that portability comes at the expense of stability. After unfolding the two sides of the stand, the center started sagging and I was really worried about putting weight on it. The levers that hold the device in place are metal, but the internal supports, like the ones that hold the stand at right angles and those that hold the center section in place, are made of very thin plastic, which I doubt will last much. I'm glad Revain has a good return policy because it was returned promptly. My equipment is too valuable for me to be backed by such crappy support.
