I had to wash the board with soap
These pens were very dirty to get started. They are more fluid than I expected so the chalk ran out of the pens. The liquid took a long time to dry out (trying to clean it while it was wet was a terrible idea). However, once it dried I had to literally rub the board with soap and water to remove it and it still hasn't completely come off. They're more like semi-permanent chalk pens than "easy-to-clean" ones.
