I just bought this grinder after reading many reviews on this and others here at Revain. In my search filter, this turned out to be the top rated coffee grinder that wasn't outrageously expensive, so it ultimately became the purchase decision criterion. Something happened to our last coffee grinder and it got very noisy and maybe too noisy to be around - we have a small child who often sleeps while we are making coffee. So we really needed a quieter grinder and a lot of reviews said it was pretty quiet and I have to say I'm glad it's significantly quieter than our last couple of grinders. It still makes some noise, but that's perfectly reasonable as all the mills make noise. I don't have to press that hard on this grinder to make it work. It also looks very beautiful. The stainless steel matches our other kitchen appliances and I would say our kitchen looks nicer while our old one probably looked more of a mess on the countertop. I would recommend this coffee grinder to anyone.
