I have tendonitis in my hands. Difficult to grab and squeeze anything (I had trouble squeezing and holding the clamp on my traditional curling iron). It was recommended to me, so I gave it a try. There is a slight learning curve. But once I get the hang of it, it's awesome! Getting loose beachy waves into my hair is not difficult at all. If you're balancing the iron with two hands, keep a glove or rag handy so you don't burn your fingers touching the hot iron. Once I get the hang of it, I love it! I will never use a regular iron again. I didn't bother using it in the "lock" position as I really like how my hair slides out easily without getting snagged. And NO crush marks! Hooray!
