All this although I usually use several sizes of adapter rings to take full advantage of my filter set which I intentionally bought with larger diameters from 67mm to 62mm. Until recently, I've added digital cameras with lenses of different diameters to my collection. So it's time to buy a complete set of these rings, which is cheaper than buying individual rings. I actually put some WD-40 on the threads with a cotton pad to make them smoother when I put the filter on. All in all it's a good investment to take full advantage of existing filters left over from the 35mm days. You can easily buy a filter mount adapter to mount even on compact cameras and use rings and filters for more creativity.
