So far so good in aquarium pumps and filters

This unit works very well. The 8w version is a little strong for my 29g river tank, but the turtle platform directs the water down to the other end so the water on the other side of the tank is a little calm for my turtle to dangle. Minnows love to use the currents to escape from the monster turtle lol. Next time I will probably choose the 6w version.
