    Inexpensive power pack No shrill

    No fancy features. Simply a workhorse at a great price. Good for mixing water or just creating a constant flow in the aquarium. I use it in my goldfish tank and the plants grow faster due to the extra water flow.

    So far so good in aquarium pumps and filters

    This unit works very well. The 8w version is a little strong for my 29g river tank, but the turtle platform directs the water down to the other end so the water on the other side of the tank is a little calm for my turtle to dangle. Minnows love to use the currents to escape from the monster turtle lol. Next time I will probably choose the 6w version.

    Wave Maker JVC-132 Ideal for 55 gallon tank

    I have tried a few models. This WaveMaker JVC-132 (12W) is ideal for a 55-75 gallon aquarium. Here's what I found - JVC-131 (8w.) is underpowered for my 55 gallon tank. Came back and got the biggest JVC-133 (16w.). It's too big and probably good for 100 gallons and up. Magnet makes installation easy. Very durable and powerful. Love it!

    Incredible design and great flow but the gear doesn't work

    I put this in my 75 river aquarium to double the flow there and it does an amazing job. The magnet is more than strong enough to hold and the rotating ball design is pretty smart. The ONLY issue I have found is with the current reducer. If you try to push the gear back, it will bind to the propeller and render it useless. It's not that big of a deal to me, but it eliminates what would be a cool feature. 4 stars and even knowing the gearbox I would buy it again.

    Great product for aquarium pumps and filters

    I needed something that could pump a lot of water. That works great. It's very quiet, it creates a lot of current for my corals. And it even has an adjustable knob on the power head. What I really like about the product is that you can point it in any direction with the cool rotation feature. This allows me to create turbulent flow in areas of my tank that previously did not receive flow. It was delivered very quickly, it was there in less than half a week (I don't have PRIME and it still cameโ€ฆ
