Incredible design and great flow but the gear doesn't work

I put this in my 75 river aquarium to double the flow there and it does an amazing job. The magnet is more than strong enough to hold and the rotating ball design is pretty smart. The ONLY issue I have found is with the current reducer. If you try to push the gear back, it will bind to the propeller and render it useless. It's not that big of a deal to me, but it eliminates what would be a cool feature. 4 stars and even knowing the gearbox I would buy it again.
