Suitable for cruisers, best for rear shocks

I've looked at a lot of bike seats and racks and this is the first jump clamp I've tried. This is a great idea that has a place in the cycling world. In this case it is best used when standing upright on the bike. I ride my bike to work. Lots of bumps and sidewalks. My bike is a hardtail, so I have a lot to complain about. For reference, I'm 6'160 with a 32" inseam. I centered the spring clamp around the 50 mark. I also centered the post just below that 50. This was my initial spring setting and I kept it. I had to adjust the seat adjust it so it leans forward with no load, this allowed it to lie flat when I leaned on it with my weight on it.bike, and this seat was tipping me forward too much.when I put my weight on the seat and myself just sat down I could feel a slight bounce and the seat was comfortable even coming off the pavement.I had to lower my rack to sit on it.I think it's perfect for a beach cruiser style bike.
