Impossible - Sports

Bad instructions and bad video. The first image shows "as shown" direction/articulation in one direction, and the other images show the other. The channel did not match my location. I could have stretched it but didn't want to risk breaking it. We've been trying to install it for at least an hour with no success.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Suitable for small wheel

I bought a used bike cheap, but it was too small. My knees hurt, but I couldn't raise the seat or reach the floor. Using this tool I moved the seat back a full 100mm and the bike fits better than any bike I have ever owned. Depreciation is a nice bonus, it was difficult to install. I would recommend having someone help hold the parts in place while another tightens the screws.

Cons
  • Small repairability

Can be used for go kart suspension

This bike seat spring can be used as go kart suspension. You can even adjust the "ride feel" after assembly by changing the position of the spring bracket as shown in the assembly instructions under the bike seat. The only downside to this particular spring is the "hump" on the back of the lower spring arm. No problem when used as a saddle spring, but can interfere with adapting the spring to other applications. That being said, this spring can find many different uses for projects where you…

Patience Pays: Sport

As an alternative to suspension seat posts that cost $100 and up, I couldn't be more impressed. Compensates for large bumps very effectively without the saddle becoming unstable. There is one big caveat, though: take the time to play with the different ways you can tune this spring to give you the exact amount of damping you're looking for. Your patience is greatly appreciated by your backend. Out of the box I personally found it too peppy. But having found the correct position, it is now, as…

Suitable for cruisers, best for rear shocks

I've looked at a lot of bike seats and racks and this is the first jump clamp I've tried. This is a great idea that has a place in the cycling world. In this case it is best used when standing upright on the bike. I ride my bike to work. Lots of bumps and sidewalks. My bike is a hardtail, so I have a lot to complain about. For reference, I'm 6'160 with a 32" inseam. I centered the spring clamp around the 50 mark. I also centered the post just below that 50. This was my initial spring setting…
