I think most people are dissatisfied with this item, they just didn't know what they are getting. It doesn't have a solid bottom like a real backpack. It's okay if you just lay out a few blankets. The bars outside are a potential headbutt spot, but luckily my girl didn't do that. What I like best overall is the ease of opening and portability. I have a Pack n Play and I find it very difficult to open, set up, take apart and take with me. It's as easy as possible. The canvas can stubbornly snap, but it's no big deal and it works well and stays on! I bought a mosquito net without holes (like for a bed) to throw everything outside. So far I like it and well worth the money if you know what to expect!
