Review on Power Stop S6036 Performance Caliper by Chase Cooper

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The calipers definitely work as expected for 1000 b4 miles. Look great too!

Good: These calipers work as expected [otherwise (like new) or (better)]. They look great and are very easy to install using only the tools shown in the attached image. They were very lightly bled (brake fluid) and almost shed blood. I had 2 bottles of DOT 3 (specifically for my SUV) and NEVER drained the tank. An air bubble at the top will not be your friend when bleeding the system. I think a brake fluid flush is inevitable as can be seen in the 3rd picture. Bad: a little. I had to scrape some red powder coating off the edges of the threaded bolt holes (with my thumbnail) (easy enough). On my first attempt at bolting I couldn't hand tighten the threads (blind and rear), I threaded the bolts through the holes (calipers in hand) after which they fitted easily to the SUV mounts. (Nissan Pathfinder) (2015) SL Note: There are left and right sides (although they look exactly the same), the banjo link has a pin hole that should be (UP). Check your disassembly and installation in reverse order AND EVERYTHING MUST GO WELL! Also, I saved a lot of work and planning time by leaving it for a few days etc. It was (2 hours of cardboard work) on my road. . Parts Installed ((These calipers), (perforated and slotted) rotors and ceramic pads)) This review is for calipers only. David Jones.
