So a few problems for tripods

It's strong enough for what it is. The problem is that I use the treadmill at my desk and it just can't handle the vibrations it creates. This may also be because I've been using it with a portable monitor at a very external size limit for what this device can handle. So for me it's not stable enough, but for a smaller device, for someone who doesn't run all the time, it's probably stable enough. Another problem lies in the clamp. I wanted to mount it to the back of a table for sitting and standing against a wall. The problem is that it protrudes a full two inches from the surface it's pressed against. I actually damaged the finish on the wall by raising and lowering the table because it's protruding so much and I didn't want to push my table out any further. My guess is that this allows for a plastic construction that is both inexpensive and strong, but is very distracting with how far it protrudes. Sending this back and switching to a VESA adapter so I have more durable and higher quality options for this monitor.

Pros
  • 360° Adjustment with Knob and Ball Joint: The clamp is equipped with a 360° ball joint, which allows you to adjust this mount to any angle you want. In addition, you can ROTATE the corner of the aluminum pole by pressing the button on the bottom of the base. With a 360° rotation in different parts, you can easily place the device in portrait or landscape mode for hands-free reading and surfing. It is suitable for making phone calls, watching videos and playing music.
Cons
  • Not all fit
