Ok this pair was ordered a size 7 for tall kids and it fits my child who wears a size 6.5 in casual shoes. The opening is great - easy to put on and take off. The quality also seems excellent. This pair is very light for winter boots. Since a Big Kids size 7 is a women's size 8, I was able to try them on and work around the house to get an idea. This pair is very uncomfortable! It is difficult to tie it on the leg, so there is always space around the leg. Inside, the show appears to be just one giant hollow area that doesn't block your foot in one spot, and when you walk your entire leg moves up and down. And it's not very convenient to walk in it.
